Crystal has been the driving force behind Crystal Clear Solutions for 15+ years and has grown the company from a small one-woman show to the creative agency it is today.
With a passion for organization, technology and all things creative, Crystal guides all project teams to successful completion. As a Health Psychologist, she has a particular interest in creating educational materials and resources that deal with communication, health promotion and behavioural change which you'll see in the Wellthy Living community.
Crystal has a BA from Simon Fraser University with a double major in English and Psychology, and a Masters Degree in Health Psychology from the National University of Ireland, Galway. She is a frequent speaker at conferences and events, a course creator, and the author of more than twenty books for kids and adults. Bonus points for anyone who can figure out all of Crystal's pen names! Hint: check her website...
Jared is an interesting combination of creative dynamo and passionate word nerd, and is the author of eight books, fiction and non-fiction. Whether designing a game, creating courses in Articulate, or solving elaborate spreadsheet puzzles, he has a keen eye for detail. Jared enjoys technical writing and editing, particularly for education and training materials, and streamlining business systems.
In addition to completing courses and workshops in screenwriting and fiction, Jared continually improves his business education with training in Excel, Process Mapping (SFU) and Process Design and Improvement (Sauder School of Business).
When Jared isn’t designing information systems, he’s designing other systems: Role-playing games, which he loves!
Constance creates communications pieces that convey your message clearly and with memorable style. As a graphic designer, photographer, copywriter and brand strategist, she can turn complex details into a cohesive package.
She studied copywriting at the University of California, Irvine and has 20+ years experience in print and digital communications. Her background includes work in advertising, typography, marketing, and journalism.
Constance is an unflappable optimist and a passionate pacifist. She is author of Dream Hatching and is currently writing a spiritual memoir, The Bumbling Mystic's Obituary. She teaches workshops and online courses for women who want to bring their dream to life.
Greg loves developing educational materials that teach through narrative. He brings polish and finesse to writing, whether professional, academic or creative. He brings experience in copyediting for business, science and the arts.
Greg earned a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of British Columbia, a Master of Arts in English Literature from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of North Carolina - Greensboro. He’s also completed professional development training in technical writing (Memorial University), publishing (SFU), as well as courses in web design.
When Greg's away from his desk he's an avid outdoorsman and a collector of interesting socks.
Nicole is all about the details. A former newspaper editor, she uses her copyediting skills to hone and refine both creative and professional writing. After studying English Literature at the University of the Fraser Valley, Nicole went on to complete her degree in Broadcast Journalism at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
She worked as a video journalist for Shaw Television and a creative writer for Info-Chip Communications before relocating to Fernie, B.C. to become a reporter for The Free Press. Eventually taking over as editor in chief, Nicole ran the weekly newspaper’s editorial staff, helping the publication earn two Ma Murray Community Newspaper Awards for exemplary journalism.
Nicole now lends her unique mix of editing, writing, communication, and management skills to CCS projects, while teaching piano (her other love) on the side.
Amanda’s background is in academic writing, research, and curriculum design, with experience in creating educational materials. She enjoys content and copy editing in both fiction and non-fiction, and her eagle-eye brings out the best in any writing.
After earning degrees from Dalhousie and York University, Amanda received her PhD in History from Boston College in 2010. As an instructor at Simon Fraser University, she developed and ran courses at all undergraduate levels —from large-scale lecture surveys, to online distance education classes, to advanced seminars of fewer than 20 students.
Fun fact: Amanda's band Plumtree received the Best Canadian Under Twenty award at the 1996 YTV Achievement Awards. Rock on!
